Shelton’s top ten debut since 2006 is three Americans of ATP

American men’s tennis continues to develop its momentum. The U.S. men ranked in the top 10 for the first time since 2006 in the quarterfinals of Roland-Garros for the first time since 1996.
Enter Ben SheldonHe reached the semi-finals last week in Stuttgart and made his first top ten in Monday’s ATP rankings.
Shelton, 22, was the first American born in the 2000s to achieve this feat.
Taylor Fritz joined Shelton, who returned to fourth place after winning Stuttgart title and Tommy Paul ranked 8th, thanks to his quarterfinals at Roland-Garros.
The last time, three American men won the tenth place at the same time was on April 17, 2006, Andy Roddick ranked fourth, James Blake ranked seventh, and Andre Agassi ranked tenth.

Shelton is the fourth ATP player, second in the United States, and debuted in 2024.
Diallo crack first 50
Canada’s 23-year-old Gabriel Diallo is in the top 50 in the 44th place, thanks to his title at S-Hertogenbosch. Diallo only won the Grassland Championship on Sunday, the first since Greg Rusedski in 1993.
Italy’s Flavio Cobolli also finished a career-high in No. 24.
Zizou Bergs (+14 to 49) and Reilly Opelka (+12 to 75) are also one of the biggest boosters in the ATP rankings this week. Opelka has risen by more than 200 attractions since January. He competed in Brisbane this year at No. 293.
Bergs, who lost to Diallo in the S-Hertogenbosh final, is back in his career.
