Lorenzo Musetti He is enjoying his time in one of two Italian men in the ATP top ten (for the first time ever).
Defeat the Musetti of Finland Otto Vitanen 6-3, 6-2 will face the United States within 86 minutes Brandon Nakashima In the third round. The Italian is now 18-4 since winning the Olympic bronze medal in Paris last July.
Musetti, a finalist in Monte Carlo and a semi-finalist in Madrid, hopes to surpass his career best performance at Foro Italico, which is 16 rounds in 2023.

Musetti is one of two Italian men entering the third round today. Wild card Francesco Passaro brings Grigor Dimitrov 7-5 6-3 to the third round for the second consecutive year.
Four other Italian men, including top-seeded Jannik Sinner and Matteo Berrettini, will hold their second round in Rome on Saturday.
