The recipe calls for diced vegetables, tofu, spices, nutritious yeast or vegetarian cheese, and optional crust.

vegetable – The best thing about this recipe is the simplicity of customization.

This time I used mushrooms, red peppers and spinach. You can substitute for other raw or roasted vegetables such as asparagus, leeks, lightened tomatoes, broccoli, zucchini, kale, eggplant or fresh garlic.

Tofu – To whip a omelette without eggs, tofu is a great alternative.

I highly recommend the shelf-stable Mori-nu silk extra tofu. If you can’t find it, the refrigerated tofu company works. I also offer an egg-only version for those who prefer recipes that don’t contain tofu.

Spices – Add onion powder, turmeric, black pepper, salt and fresh or rosemary to the depth. If necessary, throw a little garlic powder or chili powder in.

cheese – Plant-based chopped cheese or superfood nutritional yeast makes this French egg trake tart tart the traditional cheesy scent. You can buy nutritional yeast at most grocery stores.

How to Make Vegan Egg Cakes Without Eggs
