Delray Beach has historically provided the United States with a veritable home court advantage in international team tennis. The US Davis Cup and Billy Jean Gold Cup teams have been 5-0 all time when playing at the Delal Beach Tennis Center.
The US Davis Cup team last played in Delray in 2004 and beat Sweden with Andy Roddick, Mardy Fish, and Bob and Mike Bryan. The Billie Jean King Cup team played at the Delray Beach Tennis Center in 2023 and swept Austria behind it, local native Coco Gauff, an incident that brought nearly $1 million to the local economy.
