Petra Kvitova Will return to Wimbledon this month.
Two-time Wimbledon champion Kvitova leads the Wimbledon wildcard roster announced today by tournament referee Denise Parnell.
Left-handed Kvitova swept Maria Sharapova to win the 2011 Wimbledon Championship. Three years later, Kvitova overwhelmed Eugenie Bouchard to win her second Wimbledon title.
Eight different women won the last eight Wimbledon titles, including a series of titles for the Czech champions. Barbora Krejickova dominated the Wimbledon champion. Left-handed Marketa Vondrousova lifted the rose water dish in 2023.
On the men’s side, Dan Evans of the British was one of seven British people who obtained the main drawing wildcards.
