Ice Turmeric Lemonade Recipe

Turmeric is a great spice and has many benefits. I love using it in cooking, natural beauty recipes, especially this refreshing lemonade! We used this turmeric lemonade recipe as a holiday drink for summer barbecue, park picnic and friends just stopped.

Simple turmeric lemonade

We usually make turmeric the cornerstone of Indian cuisine and curry powder, mustard, etc. Unfortunately, many of the foods I like to add turmeric to soups, stews and warm golden milk don’t sound that good in hot summer weather.

This turmeric lemonade recipe is the ideal solution and a family favorite. I often make it for the kids so they can play outside and spend a few days on the beach to rehydrate. It’s very easy to make and taste!

Turmeric offers gorgeous colors, but its earthy flavor is mostly hidden by the lemon’s Don. I like to use liquid stevia to sweeten it, although any natural sweetener will work. Honey or maple syrup is some delicious choices!

The benefits of turmeric

Then why is turmeric so good? Health experts often recommend turmeric as a way to help reduce inflammation in the body. Thousands of studies have shown its benefits in promoting heart health, mental health, reducing inflammation and ensuring a balanced blood sugar. Turmeric also supports digestive, liver function, and also has high beneficial antioxidants.

Due to its external interests, you will also find turmeric in many beauty recipes and natural health remedies. Turmeric can improve the skin, whiten the teeth, and even soothe the rash before adding it to the plaster. See this article for a complete list of the benefits and uses of turmeric.

One of my favorite ways to do daily turmeric dosage is to use this simple superfood lemonade.

  • If you don’t consume all of this right away, make a smaller batch by cutting the recipe in half or even a quarter. I prefer to use stevia to reduce sugar content, but any natural sweetener (like maple syrup or honey) works well in this recipe.
  • warn: Turmeric is indeed on the surface.

Optional flavor enhancement:

  • Add some thin slices of fresh ginger before mixing
  • Hydrate with a little sea salt
  • Use coconut water instead of white water for electrolyte
  • Try adding glittering water after mixing the carbonated version
  • Use lemon juice instead of lemon or orange juice (use 1 cup of orange juice and reduce the water by 1/2 cup).

FAQs about turmeric lemonade

Why drink it immediately?
Turmeric tends to settle, and fresh lemon juice may oxidize over time. Additionally, crushed ice melts quickly, diluting the flavor and changing texture. For the best taste and benefits, enjoy now.

How to store it
If you need to do this in advance, store the lemonade in an airtight container in the refrigerator and shake or stir before drinking. It is best to eat within 24 hours.

How many sweeteners are used?
Adjust the taste of the sweetener. Start with a little bit, depending on your preference or citric acid.
