Energy-enhanced beet gummies

Beets are one of my favorite vegetables. I use beetroot powder in my homemade blush, add them to the salad, and use them to make a great tasting strawberry beet peel. Beetroot Gummies is a pleasant way to get beets in the form of a gummies.
My kids love chewing vitamins and beet gum and have high nutritional content. They are a sugar-free, gluten-free method that can get extra nutrition in your diet. Plus, they add benefits to athletes or anyone who needs brain or energy enhancement. This humble vegetable can offer a lot!
You can find pre-made beetroot extracts on store shelves to chew, but they can easily make themselves. Many of these beet chews also add ingredients I’d rather avoid.
So, what’s great about beets?
The health benefits of beets
With anti-inflammatory and antioxidants, the beets are red. Yellow beets have these benefits, too, but come from betaxanthins. Not only do they help prevent oxidative damage, they also reduce overall inflammation. In a 2014 study, those who took beetroot extract supplements had 27% less pain than the placebo group. Their energy levels are also significantly higher!
You will also find a lot of nitrates in beets. When we eat them and increase the blood, these nitrates turn into nitric oxide. Research has confirmed that the production of nitric oxide not only helps blood circulation, but also has a healthy heart. Beets are known to provide natural blood pressure support through standardized blood pressure. Beet further supports cardiovascular health by helping heart cells and cells that line our blood and lymphatic vessels.
A meta-analysis found that nitric oxide supplements can help non-athletes perform better on endurance-based sports tests. Beets with high nitrate content show the same benefits in terms of physical performance. Beets not only bring you physical enhancement, but also provide energy enhancement to your brain.
Beets have vitamins C, B vitamins, iron, manganese, potassium, copper, zinc and magnesium. You can read more about why beets are great here.
Health Benefits of Pomegranate
Pomegranate is another dietary superfood rich in antioxidants and nutrition. Their anti-cancer and blood pressure benefits have been widely explored. Other studies have shown that pomegranate juice helps enhance exercise and recovery. While we may not be all professional athletes, anything that improves our ability to move and heal is a plus in my book.
Pomegranates have 50% of potassium, zinc, magnesium and our daily copper value. You will also find high levels of vitamins C, K, E and B.
Of course, there is gelatin in this recipe to help bring everything together. Gelatin itself has many impressive health benefits, which I will introduce here.
How to make beet gummies
This process is very similar to my other fudge recipes. However, instead of using beet juice, I mix the whole beetroot. Beets can be a messy process, and not everyone has a juicer. It is also not common to find a bottle of beet juice in the juice section of the grocery store.
Simply cut the beet into large pieces and mix with pomegranate juice. Make sure your mixer cover is tight as this mixture will get dirty! Mix gelatin and pour into your favorite mold, your beet gummies.
