Easy caprese salad recipe

Introducing one of my favorite simple salad recipes. This tomato, basil and mozzarella Caprese salad is a summer favorite that our entire family loves. When our tomatoes are season, we often do this in the summer. This classic Italian dish is lightweight, delicious and delicious!
Classic Capres salad
This appetizer (or side dish) is really not easy. All it takes is some slices, arrangements and sprinkles of herbs. It is known in Italy as Instalata Caprese, no one determines its origins, although it is believed to have begun on Capree. Others point out that this is similar to the Italian flag being patriotic. But it happened, this herb tomato salad is so good!
Put together quickly, but still looks impressive, perfect for a weekday dinner or your next barbecue.
I often find the easiest recipes are sometimes the most delicious. Especially when they use seasonal produce. After picking, few things are better than really fresh peaches, tomatoes or salads.
Caprese Ingredients
Since the ingredients are simple, there is not much hidden in terms of Caprese. Watery rubber tomatoes taste bad here. I love using native tomatoes or heirloom tomatoes as the best caprese salad at farmers markets. Some fresh black pepper and flaky sea salt or kosher salt do help to give off the tomato flavor. Any quality salt will work.
I like salad plains, but you can also add lowered balsamic (also known as balsamic glaze) or vinegar drizzle. To cook, add some grilled chicken to the side!
For interesting variants, try a single Caprese salad skewers. Bring the skewers on grape tomatoes or shredded cherry tomatoes to the middle of the basil leaves and mozzarella.
