Vemic is an experienced coach who has worked with Hall of Fame members Bryan Brothers, Andrea Petkovic, Brandon Nakashima, and previously served as an assistant coach for former coach Marian Vajda on the Djokovic team. Vemec was in Djokovic’s box when he won the 2016 Miami Open.

“Dusan Vemic, captain of the Serbian BJK Cup, was on my team a few years ago [is my coach]”When asked about his coach, Djokovic told the Geneva media. “He is here and will be in Roland.

“Boris Bosnjakovic, a former analyst and assistant coach for the team, shared the upcoming game with Dusan. Then we’ll see. I’m not in a hurry to choose, or know if I’m around, I don’t know, I don’t know. I feel good.”

Part of this familiarity comes from years of experience in Djokovic’s Davis Cup and ATP tour, a respected technician known as an active presence in the coach box. Even in the years when Djokovic and vememep worked together, they remained in touch as friends.

Djokovic celebrated his 38th birthday on Thursday, splitting with former coach Andy Murray after Madrid and opting out of Rome. This means Djokovic is invincible in this clay field sport.

Asked what went wrong with Murray’s partnership, Djokovic said they initially agreed to work on the trial basis, and he believed the partnership was just carrying out the course.

“I can’t tell you more than you read in our statements. We said we didn’t have a long-term commitment.” “Australia has been a test. Then we said to ourselves that we were going to work in Wells and Miami in India. On clay, we went to watch the game after the game. We agreed to this separation.

“We felt we couldn’t get more connections from the court. My respect for Andy remained the same. And he was bigger because I knew him better about his people. He had a great tennis IQ. Champions are a rare mentality.”

Djokovic said that despite their shared knowledge, in the end, the pair of Olympic gold medal winners did not reach their title.

“He saw the game in an incredible way,” Djokovic said of Murray. “However, I say, we didn’t achieve what we wanted to achieve in terms of results together. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t work. We tried.”
