How to Make a Christmas Fruit Wreath:

  1. Make sugar-filled grapes. Add 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 water to a small pot. Cook over medium heat until the sugar melts and removes liquid. This only takes about 3 minutes. Set aside and cool to room temperature. Dip the grapes in the sugar mixture and place them on the wire rack to make sure they don’t touch them. Let them sit for about 30 minutes. Next, roll them into the remaining sugar. Keep it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before use.
  2. Prepare the rest of the fruit. Peel and cut kiwi into 1/4-inch slices. Pomegranate falls off. Cut the apples into thin slices. Use a small star cookie cutter to cut the stars out of certain slices. If necessary, throw the apples with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  3. Assemble fruit wreath. Place the kiwi fruit in a large round plate or circle on a plate. Top with apple slices, sugared grapes, remaining kiwi slices, and raspberry buildings and as you go to balance the fruit and color. Top with pomegranate aromatic and garnish with apple stars and mint leaves.
  4. Serve. Serve with a simple yogurt dip if needed. We added mint leaves and pomegranate, similar to the holly berries in the center. enjoy!

Sugar-added grapes

  • 2 cup red grapes
  • 2 cup green grapes
  • 1/2 cup Sugar, split
  • 1/4 cup water
  • In a small pot, add 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup water. Stir continuously over medium heat until the sugar melts. When the liquid is clear, it is done. This takes about 3 minutes. Let cool to room temperature.

  • Add grapes in batches to sugar water. Using a slotted spoon, remove the grapes and place them on a wired rack on the paper tray. Make sure the grapes don’t come into contact and let them sit for about 30 minutes.

  • Add remaining 1/4 cup sugar to a plate or wide bowl. Roll the grapes into the sugar. Repeat until all grapes are coated in sugar. Let the refrigerator sit for another 30 minutes.

  • When the grapes are cold, slice the kiwi and place a single layer on a round tray. Cut the apples into thin slices and use a small star cutter to cut the star shape.

  • Take off the pomegranate and put poverty aside.

  • Once the grapes are refrigerated, start adding grapes, raspberry and pomegranate aromas to the top of the kiwi fruit in that order. Place the fruit to balance different colors and shapes. End, add apple stars to the top and garnish with mint leaves. Serve immediately with your favorite dip. enjoy!
