Caroline Garcia announces retirement soon

Paris – Caroline Garcia Will play her last Roland-Garros in 2025. The 31-year-old former world No. 4 made news on social media two days before the start of the main draw in Paris on Friday.
“After 15 years of competition at the highest level, and over 25 years of investing my whole life, I am ready to start a new chapter,” she wrote. “Nevertheless, it’s not over yet – not only. I have some games. The first game was at the home of Roland-Garros. I was part of it for the 14th time in a row. And, my last one.

Garcia played some incredible tennis in her career, winning 11 titles and 26 top ten. She reached the semifinals at the 2022 U.S. Open – her best performance in her career – and won 62 games in the Grand Slam
She won the WTA final in 2022.
Garcia recently started getting engaged and branched out and became a podcast host. She hosts the Tennis Insider Club podcast, which interviews with other professional tennis players and athletes.
Garcia’s career is full of ups and downs, but the highs are unusually high. She entered the top ten in 2018, rose to 4th place, then dropped the top 70 from the top 70 before returning to 4th place in the 2022 season with 46 wins, her first victory in the world’s No. 1 (IGA Swiatek beat IGA Swiatek) and entered her first big halftime game.
