Air Fried Potato Recipe – Datoxinista

If you like crispy, experienced potatoes, you are in the right place. I’ve spent weeks testing a batch of potatoes in the air fryer over the past few weeks, so I’ve learned something that can help you get better results.

  1. Cut the potatoes into small pieces. Smaller pieces (about 1-inch pieces) cook faster inside, which prevents burning outside. Make sure all pieces are approximately the same size so that they finish cooking at the same time.
  2. Do not cook more than 1 pound of potatoes at a time. If you try to squeeze more into the air frying basket, you will end up with a wet, steamed potatoes instead of a crispy basket.
  3. You don’t need fancy spices to create amazing flavors. If you keep the basic spice on hand, you will need what you need to satisfy the seasoned potatoes.

I’ll walk through your process step by step so you’ll get delicious results on your first try!

French fries potato ingredients

Here is what you need:

  • potato. Use Yukon gold potatoes for optimal texture and flavor. They have yellow tones and creamy interiors that contrast with the crispy exterior of the air fryer.
  • olive oil. Any neutral oil will work here, and you don’t need to use it almost when compared to fried or fried potatoes.
  • spices. Garlic powder, chili powder, onion powder and salt make these crispy potatoes as delicious as possible. Using pantry spices helps to distribute the flavor more evenly than fresh spices.

Feel free to use any other seasoning you like.

Cook at 350°F for 15 minutes, then shake the basket and cook for another 5 minutes, or until the potatoes turn golden and easily pierce with a fork.
