Belinda Bencic It was Wimbledon’s last mother standing.
The 28-year-old Swiss equaled her best Grand Slam score and reached her first Wimbledon quarterfinals in a 7-6 (4) 6-4 win over Ekaterina Alexandrova on Monday.
Bencic moved away from Bella for 15 months. She is the last of nine mothers to be held this year in Wimbledon.

Wimbledon, 2025 mother:

In the history of the Open Age, only three mothers have won major championships – Margaret Court, Evan Gularagorn and Kim Kleisters.
It was a difficult victory. Bencic was almost at home after falling into Alexandrova and winning three games at Bad Homburg, but the Russians won a bunch of winners to save five match points and extend the match.
The Swiss broke the game without hesitation in the next game, converting her sixth match point into her emotions.
