Vanilla Latte Coffee Scrub Recipe

I like the smell of coffee and I like to drink coffee (butter!). But it turns out that coffee spots can also make body scrubs great. Not only does it remove dead skin cells, it can also help reduce the appearance of cellulite.
Coffee scrubs healthier skin
Coffee beans are full of antioxidants and are also beneficial when used externally. I even infused coffee under my eye cream to cheer up my tired eyes. So, how does a coffee body scrub help your skin care routine?
Massage the skin helps stimulate blood and lymphatic flow. Increased circulation can help reduce fat, improve circulation and cell detoxification, and make the skin feel smoother. Coffee also has antioxidants that can help with excessive free radicals and produce a visor effect due to its astringent properties.
If your skin is dry, you need to be sure to drink moisturizing minerals, but scrubs can still be part of your body care. The oil in this coffee scrub is moisturizing and a great way to get more self-care. If you are dealing with acne, keeping your skin exfoliating and moisturizing can help prevent breakthroughs. However, diet is still the best way to solve the root cause of acne!
If you have acne-prone skin and want to use it as a facial scrub, you can swap coconut oil for fewer comedians like Johoba or grape flavored oil. The scrub isn’t that strong, but it still works fine.
Coffee scrub ingredients
This sugar scrub combines some of my favorite natural beauty ingredients. Here is what they mean and how they help your skin
- Coconut Oil – Naturally nourishes the skin. Since coconut oil is solid at room temperature, it can make more scrub. Some people find that coconut oil is indeed dry, but you can swap it for something like olive oil or sweet almond oil for skin type. Be careful, as a stronger oil will affect the final scrub odor!
- Castor Oil – A natural and astringent oil that is perfect for skin tone. I also sometimes use it in facial cleansing regimens… By therapy, I mean a super easy one-step process that surprises the skin. Castor oil is perfect for blemishes and detoxifying skin.
- Coffee – Caffeine has a tightening and irritating effect on the skin. You will usually find it in anti-aging products.
- Sugar – The body is not good inside, but naturally exfoliate when it is great outside. Brown sugar or cane sugar works well and can replenish hydration. If you prefer, you can swap the sugar for finely ground sea salt, but make sure not to use salt on damaged skin (oops!).
- Vanilla – Because it smells so good, it is also a powerful force for skin care products. Natural antibacterials help spots and antioxidants to help aging.
This simple scrub smells like a vanilla latte (hence the name) and leaves the skin silky. It smells so sophisticated, but it is very simple to make and inexpensive.

Put the coffee, sugar and vanilla in a medium bowl and mix.

Add oil and stir with the back of a fork or spoon until well combined and moisturized.

Store in an airtight container away from moisture and heat. Use soft skin as needed, especially on the legs to help with fat.
- If you plan to store it or use it at once, use a clean dry hand while digging out the scrub.
- When mixing, you can add 1/2 teaspoon of vitamin E oil to add extra antioxidants. Vitamin E is also great for healthier skin.
How to use coffee scrub + preventive measures
Using scrub is an easy process, but it can be a bit confusing! Be careful when using it while showering, as it can smooth the floor. If you are worried about scrubing the drain, you can also place the drain filter on the bathtub drain.
Apply a small amount of scrub onto wet skin and use a round motion to exfoliate. Rinse with warm water after completion. This works great as a body scrub, but you can also use it as a facial scrub to help improve fine lines and prevent blemishes. It can even work on the belly area to help with stretch marks.
I found natural ingredients for sensitive skin, just don’t have super scrubs. If your skin is very sensitive and notices irritation, stop using it.
Final thoughts on coffee scrubs
I absolutely love the smell of this scrub and how to make my skin feel smooth! Using it in the shower is an aromatic experience that helps me feel calmer and more alert at the same time. It made very quickly and even made great gifts.
