Planting Researchers | MQ Mental Health Research

The appreciation day of this study focuses on occupations in the study. MQ is committed to supporting researchers to increase mental health researchers and bring us closer to the next breakthrough in mental health.
Mental health research has long been underfunded. However, this has not stopped people from wanting to spend time and careers learning about mental illness and developing effective solutions.
But, without the funds to support these talented researchers, too many were forced to leave the scene because there was simply not enough research grants.
Over the past 12 years, MQ has been committed to supporting and developing researchers through our scholarship programs. We fund 68 incredible researchers in 14 countries and help them retain talents and skills in the science of mental health and support them to accelerate our understanding of different mental health conditions.
In 2024, MQ launched our Early Career Researcher Scholarship Program to further develop researchers.
Although MQ’s flagship scholarship is aimed at researchers who already have 5-7 years of experience, the new MQ scholarship supports researchers who recently received a PhD or PhD.
In addition, the MQ Interdisciplinary Grant Program funded by Wellcome is suitable for researchers working in areas outside of traditional mental health science disciplines to encourage them to leverage their unique insights to further mental health research.
Supporting a career is more than just money
At MQ, we learned that funds are insufficient to develop and develop researchers. By facilitating our convening efforts, by facilitating collaboration and networking, we help build connections among researchers at different stages of their careers.
Provide training through Datamind, such as through our data science workshops or our research impact accelerator work to help researchers develop their theory of change, can improve skills.
