Arthur Fils Wimbledon continued to withdraw when he recovered from his back injury.
The 21-year-old Frenchman suffered a stress fracture in his back during the epic Roland Garros victory over Jaume Munar.
Philes was forced to withdraw from Roland Garros, who admitted to a third round of walk to Andrey Rublev. He has not competed since Paris.
“I’ve had some problems for a long time, in the game against Munar It [got] Worse,” said Philes in Paris last month. “I then took some exams. The exam is not good at all.
“[I] There are some stress fractures. Our decision with the team is better off stopping now because if I stop now I can only stop for four to six weeks. If I push too much, I might stay for a few months. This is not what we are going to do, so [we] A choice must be made. ”
FILS joins the United States Sebastian Korda Exit from Wimbledon.
Last summer, the world’s No. 15 FIL team fell into the fourth round of Alex de Minaur with four sets.
