Let’s look at some of the milestones Alcaraz has reached:

– Alcaraz won his fifth major title, improving his lifespan of 5-0 in the major final. Only one male player won more major finals and then lost his first one – Roger Federer, now 7.

– Alcaraz improved by 13-1 a fifth after his first comeback in two sets to fall in love with a fifth.

– Espanyol saved three championship points to become the third male player in history, saving the championship in the Grand Slam final with Gaston Gaudion and Novak Djokovic.

– Alcaraz is the second player in the Open Age, winning multiple men’s singles major championships while saving the pathways to the game (US Open 2022 and RG 2025) after (US Open 2011 and Wim. 2019) save the game (US Open 2022 and RG 2025).

– The 22-year-old Spaniard is the 15th man in the open era to win 5 or more Grand Slam titles and joins Djokovic (24), Nadal (22) and Federer (20) (20), the only one who has achieved this milestone in this century.

– Alcaraz won 34 games in Clay’s last 36 games and is now 25-3 lifetime with Roland-Garros.

– Alcaraz became the third young man in history to win the fifth-largest Grand Slam title, behind only Borg, 21 and Nadal, 22.
