To be fair, I won’t do them often. They need some time and energy.. Usually things that are in short supply on busy weekday nights. But when I do them, my efforts paid off in full.
This recipe is here not only offers some of the lightest and most delicious dinner rolls you’ve ever had. .It’s in less time and has fewer ingredients than most recipes. This is a simple, straightforward, tolerant recipe. Knead, shape, rise and bake. There are only 5 ingredients in the dough (add water), all of which are basic pantry ingredients. Basically, what I tell you is that getting a basket of warm, golden homemade dinners has never been easier. I’ve tried picky rolls before, but I’m talking about these recipes here that are totally unnecessary. Are they delicious? certainly. But the rolls are delicious – without all the extra time, ingredients and fuss. Ingredients required for this dinner recipe:
- All-purpose flour– This is what I have been using and it is very useful for this recipe. You can also use half bread flour for chewing rolls.
- Warm water– 105-115 degrees Celsius is the ideal temperature for proving active dry yeast.
- Active dry yeast– If instant yeast is used, there is no need to prove yeast. However, you will want your water to be a lighter person. 120-130 degrees Celsius is perfect for instant yeast (also known as fast fat yeast).
- sugar– Sugar feeds on yeast and helps in the activation process. You can also use honey.
- Oil– Any neutral flavored oil will work, I usually use avocado oil.
- Salt– Salt is absolutely necessary for delicious bread. I usually use quality sea salt or kosher salt.

How to make a simple supper roll:
- Activate yeast. In the bowl of a stand mixer, add warm water, yeast and sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes, or until it becomes good and bubbles.
- Mix the dough. Add oil, salt and 3 cups of flour to the yeast mixture. Start mixing and gradually add more flour if necessary until you have a soft dough that just pulls away from the side of the bowl. Continue to knead for 4-5 minutes. The dough should be soft and smooth, with a slightly sticky touch. If it’s too sticky, add 1/4 cup of flour and mix again.
- Shape your volume. Pour the dough onto a clean flour surface. Divide into 12 uniform pieces and form into rolls.
- rise. Place the rolls in a light greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Cover gently with a clean towel or plastic wrap, allowing to rise for 30-45 minutes, or until fluffy and nearly double in size.

Tips and suggestions
How long can a homemade dinner last?

Why are my rolls so dense?
If your rolls get thicker, you may go wrong.
- You have added too much flour. Make sure to start with the minimum amount of dough listed in the recipe. If the dough is still super sticky, just add enough flour to make a viable dough. The touch was still a bit tacky and just started pulling away from the side of the bowl.
- You didn’t let the dough last long enough. Make sure to give yourself enough time to keep the dough going up until it almost doubles the baking. If the room is too cold, this can take 30-45 minutes or more. Putting the rolls in a warm place will make them rise faster and more efficiently.
- The yeast is dead. Your yeast is not good, or the water is too hot and killed. Make sure to use fresh yeast when making bread and the water temperature is between 105-115 degrees.
- You don’t have enough dough. Once the mix is finished, the dough should be very smooth and elastic. This should take at least 3-5 minutes.

- For garlic rolls, add a tablespoon of chopped garlic to the bread dough at the end of the kneading time. After the rolls are baked, brush with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic bread seasoning and grated Parmesan cheese.

To form a ball of dough, pour your hands on the dough and move your hands in a tight circular motion while maintaining a slight pressure on the dough to form a ball of ball.
