Peek at my health-driven routine

While I wouldn’t use my bedside table to announce awards for organization or minimalism…it’s a well-curated center of tools and essentials. They support my health, improve my sleep, and set the tone for a productive day ahead. I also mentioned in the Habit Stack podcast that bedside tables are also a great place to remind people of healthy habits because it is the first thing I saw in the morning.

Let me take you through everything on the nightstand and explain why it is there.

1. Quart-sized mason jars and salt

The first thing: hydration. On my nightstand you will find a quart-sized mason jar filled with water and a teaspoon of high-quality mineral salt. Why? Because for me, the first thing I do when I hydrate in the morning is not commercially acceptable. Overnight, we lose water through breathing and sweating, dehydrating our bodies. Adding a little salt to the water provides the necessary electrolytes, which helps:

  • Replenish hydration levels
  • Supports adrenal function
  • Balance blood pressure
  • Start digestion

Sometimes I dissolve the salt directly in my mouth before drinking water to mix. Either way, this little morning ritual has a big impact on my energy level and overall well-being. Lately, I’ve been using these micro-free salts. Check out these posts and this podcast for more information on why I like salt!

2. Morning and evening supplements

Good night’s sleep is only half the battle. What you do in the morning is different. I put my favorite supplements on my bedside table to make sure I never miss them. Here is what I want to do, why:

  • Magnesium breakthrough: I take magnesium in the morning because I am an anti-regulator, but many people find it more effective at night. Magnesium is crucial for hundreds of processes in the body. It supports muscle function, relieves stress and promotes energy production. Balancing hormones and improving sleep quality is also great.
  • Pectin: This modified fruit protein is my first choice for gentle detoxification. It combines with heavy metals and toxins in the body, helping to eliminate them safely. I found this helpful for my autoimmune recovery journey and now checks regularly to control inflammation.
  • the masses: A digestive enzyme supplement that helps break down proteins and improves gut health. This will be especially helpful if you indulge in a hearty meal the night before. I take it in the morning and evening on an empty stomach, but sometimes I eat meals to improve digestion. It works differently when taken or without food, so I mix it together and use it frequently at the same time.
  • Just reproduce probiotics: A healthy gut is the foundation of health, and probiotics help maintain this balance by supporting digestion and immunity. At different times, I also carry it with or without food.
  • Wizard Science’s Neurological RX: This is the game changer that changes brain health. It supports cognitive function, psychological clarity, and concentration. I usually take this in the morning to boost energy. Sometimes I take it at night and usually have vivid dreams when I do it.

It looks a bit confusing, but putting them on the nightstand helps me remember to take them away, and this way I’m more consistent. I love glass jars like this that help them look better. You will find the same jar on my kitchen table and the same supplements I take during the day.

3. Essential oils make better sleep

My home sleep is sacred, and the vibrant blue essential oil is my secret weapon. I’ve curated a collection of blends specifically for relaxing and sleeping, my friend Jody’s vibrant blue:

  • Parasympathetic nerve: Calm the nervous system and promote deep relaxation.
  • Fascia release: Lately, I have been focusing on my lymph and fascia and enjoy the gentle movement and mobility before going to bed.
  • lymph: A powerful oil mixture designed to support the lymphatic system. I love this with my feet lying on the wall and lying on a mat at night.

I applied these oils to my wrists, neck and soles of my feet before going to bed, and the difference in sleep quality is very obvious.

4. Detox Support: Cells and Carbon Cleansing

I’m also here to keep cell animals and real carbon cleaning. I often take CytodeTox in the morning and evening and do a real carbon wash at night as well as pectasol and speczymes. These are designed.

  • Support cell detoxification
  • Combined with environmental toxins
  • Promote overall energy levels and combat inflammation

Taking these regularly can help me feel energetic and clear-headed.

5. Quiet to relieve stress

Modern life can be overwhelming, so I will prioritize my focus on effectively managing stress. Quiet is a mixture of adaptive herbs and natural compounds:

  • Reduce stress
  • Promote relaxation
  • Balance emotions

This is my first choice when I need to relax at the end of a long day.

6. Blu-ray block orange glasses

Let’s talk about light hygiene. My orange blue light glass is essential to reduce exposure to artificial blue light at night. Blue light can inhibit the production of melatonin, making it difficult to fall asleep. By wearing these glasses, I:

  • Protect my circadian rhythm
  • Improve my sleep quality
  • Reduce eye strain

I also tried switching to lower and red/amber lighting throughout the house at night and avoiding screens and bright lights as much as possible after dark.

7. Books I’m currently reading and my diary

Reading is part of my rainfall routine, and there are always a few books on the bedside table. Currently, I am working on titles about personal growth, health and wellness. My Kindle lives here with digital books too.

Currently, I’m reading or re-reading: Anthony de Mello’s consciousness, searching meaning of men, recycling women by Kelly Brogan, advice from a friend, The Four Agreements, The Power and Power of David Hawkins.

Next to my books is my diary and my planner, where am I:

  • Reflect on a day
  • Note the thank you list
  • Plan tomorrow

This simple approach keeps me rooted and focused.

8. Sunlight Computer

Speaking of avoiding blue light at night…this has changed the game.

Yes, I have a dedicated computer for night use, although this also quickly became my daily computer. Designed with low EMF emissions and zero blue light, this daylight computer is perfect for reading or writing at night without disrupting my sleep cycle. This is the lifeguard for the late night inspiration meeting. It integrates most apps, which I use for listening to audiobooks and podcasts, writing in Google Docs, taking notes, digital diaries, listening to music and more!

9. Mouth tape

Mouth tape may sound weird, but it’s a game-changing respirator. By gently pressing on the mouth at night, I make sure I breathe through my nose, this is:

  • Improve oxygen intake
  • Reduce s
  • Improve sleep quality

This is a small tweak and has great benefits.

10. Sound machines and blackout shadows

Creating a perfect sleep environment is not negotiable. My speakers produce calm white noise to drown the interference, while my 100% blackout shadow ensures total darkness. These have changed the game and can make my room completely dark even in the afternoon. I kept the remote in the shadow on the nightstand for easy use.

11. Charger for my OURA Ring

My favorite wearable rings are tracking sleep, activity and recovery. Its charger has a permanent location on my nightstand so is ready to go.

12. Face roller and GUA SHA tool

Skin care is self-care and these tools help me relax and relax before going to bed. The gentle massage improved circulation and lymphatic drainage and made my skin glow. I use the rollers here and these GUA SHA tools and facial cupping tools.

13. Silk hat and sleep scrunchie

Protecting my hair during sleep is a top priority. My silk hood and scrunchie prevent cracking and keeps the hair smooth and tangle-free.

14. Light with red light bulb

Finally, my bedside table had a light with a red light bulb. The red light does not interfere with the production of melatonin, which is ideal for reading or relaxing during bedtime.

takeout

My nightstand is not only a collection of random items; it is a healthy force. Each item has a purpose, supports my health, improves sleep, and helps me wake up and refresh and prepare to resolve the day. Whether you want to upgrade your sleep environment, improve your morning routine, or just find new ways to prioritize your health, I hope this peek at the head of the bed will inspire you to create your own health-centric haven. Sweet dreams!
