“I’m really happy to be here in Rome. This is my second time playing here, so I’m very excited. So far, the practice is in good condition. I’m in good condition. I’m in good condition. I’m already 100% of the people ready to start the competition. So I can’t wait for tomorrow, he told reporters at Foro Italico before Dusan dusan lajovic in Serbia.
Glad Jannik Sinner is back
Alcaraz already dreams of playing the final with his opponent Jannik Sinner. The duo collectively captured each of the last five Grand Slam titles, halfway through Rome’s draw. Alcaraz said he was happy to see his friends and competitors returning to Rome after a three-month suspension in Rome.
“Honestly, I’m really happy to be with him again. It’s been three months now. Obviously, it’s been tough for him, I’m pretty sure [felt] super. But, I want [there is no] A better place than the place where his family came back in Rome than where he came back.
“For me, it’s great for me that the fans have allowed him to play again.”

Sinner will face Mariano Navone, Argentina, in the first round as he bids to become the first Italian to reach the final since 1978.
“We are in different aspects of the lottery,” Alcaraz noted.
